Our first cohort of grantees was invited to apply based on their existing contributions and signaled interest to contribute to the Ceramic Ecosystem. This initial cohort will submit grant proposals that are evaluated by the Ceramic Grants Program committee. Below are the main criterion on which the committee will evaluate grant proposals. Please use linked specific grant proposal submission template as the structure for submitting your proposals.
Mission Alignment & Relevance: All funded projects should be relevant to Ceramic and its mission to build a more open & vibrant weeb. Grants must involve, build on top of, or benefit the Ceramic Ecosystem in some capacity.
Tangible Benefit to Ceramic: The goal of this program is to grow the protocol and benefit the community. Grants must result in beneficial progress contributed to Ceramic.
Feasibility: Ideas and discussions are always great, but only realistic projects with tangible results will be funded.
Execution: Applicants must provide a clear execution plan for completing the project and reaching the goals.
Qualification: While we do our best to support growth and learning, applicants must have some background or credentials to prove their capabilities.
Originality & Innovation: Projects must contribute something new to the protocol, not just repeat existing grants or previous work.
